The health insurance sector in India is experiencing rapid growth, driven by increased health awareness and rising healthcare costs. This has created a high demand for professionals skilled in health insurance claim processing and revenue cycle management within hospitals, insurance companies, and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs)
Program Outcome
The course is aimed at and developing a trained workforce in the field of health insurance and healthcare revenue cycle management.
On completion of the course students will be able to independently handle the various functions of the insurance department in hospitals like Insurance Counselling, Insurance Pre-authorisation approval processing, Insurance Billing and processing Final Claim approvals, Insurance Claim Documentation & Submission, Claim Processing in various govt schemes and Claim Settlement follow-up and reconciliation.
They also get to work in insurance companies and TPAs in claim processing, claim investigation and claim auditing functions, Insurance Package creation and negotiation, Provider Network Relations management etc.
